Thefilm'sbiggestassetisundoubtedlyTomasMilian.MilianwasputtogreatusebyLenziinalmostallofhiscrimethrillers.TherangeofcharactershehasplayedforLenziisimmense,andthisoneiseasilyoneofthecoolest.ThecharacteriscalledRambo,whichimmediatelysprangtomindthepopularSylvesterStallonecharacter-butforonce,theItaliansactuallyhaven'tstolenthisnameasSyndicateSadistswasreleasedfirseee!Asusual,thefilmiswickedlyentertaining,aswegettowatchMiliangethimselfinvolvedintheusualarrayofcarchases,shootoutsandbrawls.Lenzihasgothimridingamotorbikethistimeround,andeveryscenefeaturingitandMilianisarealstandout!However,thefilmoftenfeelslikeitdoesn'treallyhaveanywheretogo,andthismeansthattherunningtimeisstretchedoutmorethanitshouldbe.ComparedtothecrimefilmsofotherItaliandirectors,SyndicateSadistsismorethanaboveaverage;butinrelationtoLenzicrimeflickssuchasAlmostHumanandTheCynic,TheRatandTheFist-itdoesn'tstandtallasoneofLenzi'sbest.Still,ifyou'relookingforninetyminutesoftestosteronefuelledmayhem-SyndicateSadistswillsuffice!
